LUNCH
The weather called for rain the entire day today. It was sunny with a high of around 70 when we left the gym. After we finished showering and getting ready it was 12:30pm. The weather was slowly getting worse, the sky was slightly overcast and it dropped about 10 degrees in a matter of an hour and a half. The party was a lot of fun and Madelyn certainly enjoyed the Dora the Explorer theme, check out the cool cake!
Since we didn't have a "real" breakfast and still hadn't had eaten after our workout once we got to the party I was ready to dig in. An's Mom made eggrolls and there was a plethora of different foods including wings from The Wingstop. On top of that there were hamburgers, turkey burgers, salmon burgers, chili, hot dogs, cupcakes, tiramisu, tater tots, and chicken nuggets. See why I needed that workout earlier? Everything was so delicious. I ended up eating 4 wings, 3 eggrolls, half a burger on a sandwich thin, a slice of cake, and a lemon cupcake with blueberry cream cheese frosting, PHEW! Naturally the cupcake was my favorite. I will have to hit An up for her recipe to share with you guys. It was delicious but I was so tired by time we left that I forgot to ask An for a few to take home :( Check out all the delicious food.
