TGIS!

BRUNCH


TGIS!! Saturdays are my Fridays being that I only get one day off a week, Sundays. After staying up past my bed time last night, 12pm, I ended up sleeping in this morning and didn't get up until 7:20. Saturdays are my days off from the gym so I didn't have a reason to wake up so earlier like I usually do. Breakfast, like myself, was running late. I hardly had time to put anything together but I did manage to whip up a bowl of oats. Instead of the usual soy milk I substituted with So Delicious Coconut milk. It made the oats extra creamy and delicious. A good start to my hectic day.

Steel cut oats with a scoop of Crofter's superfruit some almond butter and ground flax.

I've never really thought about putting flax in my oats. What brand do you use?

Hi Carol,

I use Flax USA from Costco. Its finely grounded and works well with a lot of things. I put it in my shakes, cereals, oats, and on my PB&J sandwiches. Thanks for reading!
