DINNER
Hello again,
So I told you earlier about how bad I felt about being a slacker from the gym this past week, well tonight I had some time and Madelyn stayed at her Grandparent's house so I decided to get in a workout before I had to meet up with Newton and the Kims for dinner. I couldn't decide if I wanted to run or do yoga. Ultimately I chose to run.
I tried to do 6 HIIT intervals but managed to only crank out 3. Its been one of those days where nothing goes right and I guess my state of mind just wasn't there. Feeling like a complete loser I decided to stick it to the treadmill and do a max incline of 15 at 4mph for the remaining 20 minutes. I switched it up and climbed backwards and that gave my legs a very good burn. -350 calories later I got my mojo back but sadly it was time to meet up with the gang. So much for my 40 min workout...we went to go eat Vietnamese broken rice and I ate the entire plate!!! I was so hungry when I got to the restaurant that I didn't even take a picture of my food!!! Well...I had forgotten my camera anyways but seriously, I inhaled that food and in two splits it was gone! Oh well...its back to business tomorrow. Sorry for no dinner pictures in this post. I promise next time I wont be such a heffer and remember to bring my camera!
This is in reference to a question I had, someone was asking what kind of coconut milk it is that I drink and if it's the thick kind that comes in a can. No. The kind that I like is by a brand called Turtle Mountain. It has the same fluidity as skim milk but is lightly flavored with coconut. Its oh so very delicious. I get the original kind because for an extra 30 calories you get so much more flavor! Its soooooo worth it!
